Our client, a family-owned and operated manufacturer is currently looking for forklift Operators. This is a temporary to permanent position with a great company that truly cares about its employees. Schedule: Tuesday -Friday 5:00 am -2:00 pm
Overview: The forklift operator performs physically demanding tasks in a millwork environment. This involves safely operating a forklift and helping unload when needed.
Duties will include:
Safely operate a forklift
Maintains a clean facility. Picks up and cleans all tools and equipment and disposes of all wood scraps and paint spillage each day to eliminate potential hazards.
Performs materials handling and storage
Loads and unloads trucks and hauls and hoists materials.
Ensures that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed.

Requirements:
Basic understanding of manufacturing environment preferred
Basic understanding of millwork and woodworking preferred
Ability to work independently, or as part of a small team to accomplish tasks required
Ability to stand for duration of shift required
Able to lift up to 50 pounds required
