Our client, a family-owned and operated manufacturer is currently looking for General Laborers. This is a temporary to permanent position with a great company that truly cares about its employees. Schedule: Tuesday -Friday 5:00 am -2:00 pm
Overview: The general laborer performs physically demanding tasks in a millwork environment. This position performs a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor supporting the production of chemically treated and primed wood products for residential and commercial construction projects.
Duties will include:
Pulls, stacks and wraps wood trim products for shipment to customers.
Maintains a clean facility. Picks up and cleans all tools and equipment and disposes of all wood scraps and paint spillage each day to eliminate potential hazards.
Performs materials handling and storage
Loads and unloads trucks and hauls and hoists materials.
Ensures that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed.

Requirements:
Basic understanding of manufacturing environment preferred
Basic understanding of millwork and woodworking preferred
Ability to work independently, or as part of a small team to accomplish tasks required
Ability to stand for duration of shift required
Able to lift up to 50 pounds required
